Developed by Relate along with the Mental Health Foundation, the peer listening training programme has now been successfully offered in schools for over nine years.

The three-day training programme helps students learn the skills they will need to be listeners for their own school community. Staff and students begin learning listening and counselling techniques and practise these as well as working to define a peer listening service for the school.

In addition, Relate offers relationship education training for KS3 and KS4 PSHE groups and training for school staff in areas such as basic counselling, listening skills, mediation and managing conflict.
