Counselling for Children and Families

Change in a family can cause stress for everyone. Long running disputes can cause pain to the whole family.

Family Counselling is for either individuals or groups of family members who are affected. Family counselling is a form of family support which works to draw everyone together to help the family resolve its problems jointly.

Our Family Counsellors are experienced relationship counsellors who are specially trained to work with families.

In Family Counselling ‘family’ is used in its broadest sense to include parents, carer’s children, siblings (adult or child), step family members (step parents and stepchildren) and extended family members. Any or all of these may attend counselling sessions. The counsellor will help you to explore relationships within the family and work with you to move on.
